| You are looking at the original Schaffer Shifter Transmission Tester & Controller. I maid the pictures of every page of the instructions manual and I think that it would be the best way to describe all the things that this machine can do. I would like to mention a few strong points of having this tester: To figure out if the problem is inside or outside of the transmission. Connect the shifter and just press the buttons and turn the knobs on it to control the gears and the transmission’s hydraulic pressure circuit. You can do it while you are driving the car, having it on the lift or if you have the trani out on a table. You can demonstrate how the transmission works to anyone else and the most important is that you’ll know it yourself if the problem that still exists after you just rebuilt the train is outside or inside of train. And what about you taking the transmission out of the car, rebuild it, and after you put it back in, you find out that the problem didn’t go away!? That happens very often. By connecting Schaffer Shifter you can find the problem fast and accurate. The video comes with everything that you see on the pictures and the video is so exploring. The instructor on the tape is Bill Schultz, one of the best in the rebuilders industry. You don’t have to be a rebuilder to be able to use the tester and you will see why after you watch the video. The package includes the NPM module to change the polarity on many transmissions. Instructions will explain you how to work with it. You’ll get 3 connectors for the most popular Ford transmissions: AODE, 4R70W, AXOD and one universal connector that you can see on the picture with 3 alligator clips. The AODE and 4R70W connectors have the same shape, but they are differently pinned. Also you'll need to use the NPM module with the 4R70W, but all that you'll be able to see on the VHS video that comes with the tester. I paid $1657.50 for this package. My phone #1(718)996-3880.
