Thread-Saver is a patented, innovative new drill bit that is designed to remove the broken part of the GM Quick Disconnect Heater Hose fitting in hard to reach places by drilling out the threaded part of the fitting and leaving the existing threads intact to be used over. Thread-Saver will save costly labor (approximately 3 hours) and materials which normally would require the intake manifold to be removed and/or replaced. Thread-Saver work on GM 3.1, 5.0, 5.7, and 6.5 engines to name a few.
