West Virginia--paint and body trainee

| I am currently employed in a local shop, formerly a paint shop helper I relocated to a more production oriented facility. I am preparing for my ASE certification and desire more training in the field. I attended Craven Comm College Autobody program but desire more training in heavyframe and structural repair and in estimate writing . Am willing to attend votech or other training( mechanical suspension AC service etc.) at my expense. Have experience painting large trucks, but mainly small jobs, plastic bumper repair, R&I of trim , and color matching and mixing, however my previous employer would not allow factory paint training and certifications. Am currently employed at a fast paced shop and am gaining experince rapidly in doing minor body work( dent and small part repaint and replacement) I would like to return to my home state of West Virginia if secure and gainful employment can be found. |
