I managed this shop as well as did full line auto and light truck repair from service jobs to alignments to major engine.Our main focus however was doing all the mechanical for Brennemans Body Shop, as to all collision related damage. such as sub-frame replacement- electrical repair- air bags-air conditioning-ect. My dutys here also required me to work closely with insurance Adjusters to make sure all repairs were completed as to insurance requirments,and to work closely with the body shop manager to see all work was completed in a timely manner Rolling hills service March 1988 - February 1990 Service Tech/ sales/Parts Newton, KS Here I worked as a service Manager as well as keeping the station stocked with fuel, oil and the parts we needed on hand. I had 5 employees working under me and i was also in-charge of their schedule. Also doing full line auto and light truck repair, we also did a slight amount of motorcycle repair Midway Chevrolet May 1985 - March 1988 service Tech Moundridge, KS I was employed here as a mechanic, but being a small dealership I was also doing the job of service writer and helped with sales some Self employed January 1983 - Present owner Halstead, KS Since just out of High school I have been buying and re-selling used cars-trucks- boats and motorcycles. this has mainly been just a hobby to make some extra cash but I do really enjoy it. I also have done some wreck-rebuilding hiring out most of the body and paint but doing the buying all the mechanical as well as the final sale Education Halstead High Scool High School Halstead, KS I graduated here in 1983. I took several metal shop classes,light machine shop classes,a vocational prep class in wood and metal shop. a vocational auto shop class, and was a teachers aide in metal shop Objective After moving to Houston,Iam ready to shift gears in my profesional career. I would be interested in a service writer or a parts position.I have been envolved with cars and motorcycles as well as atvs all my life and would enjoy a job in which i can still be around them but not servicing them Skills I have been around the Automotive buissnes all my life, from my fathers filling station to a large shop. I can sell jobs .I can do most anything to do with managing a shop. I can do parts as well as sales.I have also some fleet expereance Volunteer Experience I have been envolved with a local motorcycle org. that puts on a toy run for under-privleged children in our area. we organize an event that brings in 6 to 8000 dollars, 2 salvation army trucks of toys and about 20 bikes for our, bikes for tikes drive,last year we had over 600 motorcycle show |
