| Previous positions that have been held by me include Factory Training Specialist, General Manager, Fixed Operations Manager, Service Center Manager, Service Manager, Parts Manager, and Assistant Body Shop Manager. I have a degree in Engineering from Thaddeus Stevens College of Technologies. I have recently worked with automotive factory representatives in the training of dealership personnel. This training included SWOT, B2B analysis of the dealerships starting with meetings between upper level dealership / factory representatives to present program specifics and determine dealership commitment to program deliverables. Audits of vehicle sales packets were conducted to obtain data for input to achieve purchasing habits and current sales standards. Once completed, a Business plan was developed along with process maps, sales forecasts, and collateral materials such as pricing guides and merchandising slicks. Training was provided for the Parts, Service, Office and New / Used vehicle sales staff. A comprehensive program for each specific dealer was developed, approved by management, and placed into action. Monitoring practices were put into place to provide continued performance review of program goals and to provide specific monitoring of inventories for fulfillment and evolution of products. Recently, I wrote 7 out of the 9 Best Practices Training modules (Ordering & Delivery Process, Customer Service Standards, Policy & Procedure, Asset management, Marketing Material Development and Sales – Inside Sales) for the Nissan Wholesale Dealer Training Course. I was successful in the increase of productivity and sales ranging from 20% to 247%. Inventory reductions and wasted man-hours have always been a concern for me and I have been successful in the reductions of both. During my tenure, I have designed a new vehicle dealership, a new dealership Body Shop, redesigned two other new dealerships and have purchased capital equipment, negotiated contracts with contractors and have retrieved permits and licenses for the opening of three dealerships. |
